Royal Highland Show Award for Paxton
Paxton Agricultural received a Commendation in the Royal Highland Show Technical Innovation Awards for the WT75 and WT120 drinking troughs launched in 2008.
A key feature of these new products is the use of a double skin construction which increases the strength of the trough and also produces an internal surface free from ridges and potential dirt traps. This means that the unit is easier to keep clean and more hygienic in service.
Another feature of the design is the ability to locate the water inlet valve in an ‘end’ or ‘centre fill’ option in the same unit. This flexibility enables farmers to change the inlet configuration to suit their requirements.
Commenting on the award General Manager, Paul Black said, “We are delighted to have been recognised by the Technical Innovation Committee at the Royal Highland Show. This follows a similar award for these WT Drinking Troughs at the Royal Cornwall Show and it’s a great tribute for the talented Product Design Team at Paxton”.
